Disposable Cells

SPECTROCELL disposable cells are of exceptional quality for their type. They are priced to be truly disposable. All 100 cells in a given tray will match within 1% tolerance. All disposable cells are provided in a dust proof tray which also protects the cell windows. Polystyrene cells are for use from 340 through 900 nanometers. Acrylic cells provide transmission from 280 through 900 nanometers. Spectrocell acrylic cells do not show strong absorption in the visible range as do many of the UV disposable cells on the market. A-210 Micro cuvette for measurements in the short-wave UV range below 300 nm, the material-related self-absorptive characteristics of PS and PMMA cuvettes increase distinctly as their transmission ratio decreases. UV transparent cuvettes are specially suited for the photometric analysis of nucleic acids and proteins and can be used as an alternative to fragile and expensive glass or quartz cuvettes.
